Composting Awareness and Drop-off: 10am-3pm @ NMU Academic Mall

Mikayla, a Senior Environmental Studies and Sustainability Major from NMU, will have composting buckets set up in the Academic Mall to collect compost scraps for her capstone research project. She will also have information about composting during the year, and invites you to come drop off your scraps any day of the week during Earth Week. She will be weighing the scraps at the end of each day to see how many scraps the University can collect with awareness around composting at NMU.

You’ll hear from Impact Power Solutions and Homeland Solar about residential to large commercial scale on site solar power. NMU has many options to economically slash electricity emissions in a highly visible way.
